Our Historic Fleet of Canoes….. & Our New 2018 Boats
The 2018 season brings with it the addition of 8 new high impact 16’ plastic canoes. These are a versatile shorter wider boat that offer great stability and control. Each canoe fits three individuals with its three molded seats. These canoes are used primarily for day trippers. The rest of the fleet are 18’ aluminums. When you see these boats there is no question they have some history behind them! These boats have rushed down the roaring rivers out west, collided with the granite boulders of the upper mid-west, and meandered through swamps of the south. Most of these boats date back to the ‘70s and have the scars to prove it. Now, in their golden years, they enjoy the more relaxed pace of the Sugar River, providing joy to another generation of paddlers. These boats are generally for camping trips as additional equipment for day trippers.
Our Fledgling Crew of Kayaks…. & Their Single Seasoned Siblings
10 New boats added 2018 and 10 boats with only two seasons on them. These boats are eager for you to break them in! Fun and super easy to paddle, our 10’ kayaks are great single person boats with lots of features. The blow molded multi-channel design makes them stable and track easily down the river. Adjustable back rest and comfortable seat cushion with adjustable step lock footrest system helps fit many user sizes.
