This service is a vital and essential service to the community supporting mental and physical health. With these newer safer protocols, individuals and households can continue to enjoy the outdoors and find some normalcy in this challenging time. Patronizing this service also supports a small business in the community. I sincerely thank you for your support. 

A. All reservations and transactions will be through the online website via debit or credit card.

B. Customers are encouraged to provide all their own transportation, this means they will likely need two vehicles, one to leave at the take out in Paoli and one to get to the launch at Valley Road. Shuttle service will be limited to 4 individuals per shuttle to maintain social distancing while on bus. 

C.  Each canoe will only be used by a single household unit and kayaks will be used only by a single person each day. Any canoe or kayak that was used will be sprayed with an organic cleaner & disinfectant.  Any used PFD or paddle will also be disinfected at the end of each day. 

D. Any individuals requesting shuttle service will be limited to 4 individuals per shuttle. Those individuals will refrain from touching anything other than seats or safety handrails. All seats and safety handrails will be disinfected between each shuttle. 

E. Participants will be responsible for entering and exiting the river without the assistance of Sugar River Outfitters staff. 

F. All participants and staff will observe the rules of social distancing set forth by the State Health Dept. 

G. All reserved equipment will be waiting and ready to use at the Valley Road launch prior to participant arrival.  All used equipment will be left in a designated area for Sugar River Staff to clean & disinfect and put away. 

H. All persons must wear a face covering while at landings, parking areas, and in the shuttle bus.

INFORMATION ON CLEANING & DISINFECTING EQUIPMENT

After each use each boat, paddle, and life vest is treated with a disinfecting agent. Equipment is also left in the direct sunlight and exposure to UV light, a known method of reducing viruses. The shuttle bus will also be disinfected daily, as well as high contact areas like safety hand bars and seats treated between uses. 

Selectrocide (ORIN/SMT):  99.9999% kill against Coronavirus, Organic & Noncorrosive, and safe to handle.  

Selectrocide is considered a hospital grade disinfectant that can be applied using a backpack sprayer, fogger or simply a handheld spray bottle. The product line is already being utilized in factory setting, field personnel for utilities, healthcare settings, laboratories, and office settings, as well as food service areas. 

When used as directed, this chlorine dioxide-generating product is proven effective as: a disinfectant against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis, Mycobacterium bovis (TB), Listeria monocytogenes, and Candida albicans; a fungicide againt Trichophyton mentagrophytes [interdigitale] (athlete’s foot), a sanitizer against E. coli (ad E. coli O157:H7), S. aureus, Salmonella typhimurium (MDRS), Klebsiella pneumoniaH, and Listeria monocytogenes; a plant and crop bactericide against Penicillium digitatum, Botrytis Sp, and Fusarium solani; and an algaecide (Phormidium boneri). *Viruses: Corona virus, Feline Calicivirus, Hepatitis A virus, Human Immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), Poliovirus-1, Rotavirus, Influenza-A virus, Rhinovirus type 37, Canine Parvovirus, Adenovirus type 5, Herpes Simplex virus type 2, Vaccinia virus, and Norovirus (feline calici used as testing surrogate); *Kills Pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza A virus (formerly called swine flu).
