Easy Reservations for Kayak Day Trips
Simply check the calendar for availability on your desired day, give us a little information, reserve your boat, and check out using a debit or credit card. No need to try and figure out exact times or where to get on or off the river, we have you covered. Your rental is for a full day, so your time spent paddling is up to you. We have shuttles running from 9am until 1pm to meet and get you on the water.
Simple Pricing for Kayak Day Trips
All daily rentals are considered full day. This means take your time, enjoy yourself, and have fun! We rent based on the boat, not the number of people or time you take. Compared to other activities like the movies, dining out, or a trip to the WI Dells, you can get an entire day of fun for a relatively low cost!
Hourly Rentals at the Belleville Community park are simply first come first serve.
Safety First
Each day trip or hourly rental is started with a quick informative safety talk. We touch on water speeds, obstructions or challenges, safety gear, equipment use and answer any questions. We suggest that paddlers have basic experience before taking kayak river trips. Hourly rentals on the lake or river can be enjoyed by all!
Just a Suggestion….
Don’t just think of this as a paddle down the river, it can be so much more! Pack a lunch and have a picnic on a historic iron bridge. Don’t want to pack a lunch? Stop and have lunch or dinner at a number of restaurants and taverns within walking distance from the river! Stop and enjoy the wildlife too, some areas will have Bald Eagles, Herons, Egrets, Ducks, and Geese. If you’re lucky, you may also see river otters, beaver, badgers, deer and other wildlife along the way. Keep your eyes and ears open! Dane County offers plenty of public lands along the river, feel free to enjoy the natural areas. Also, please respect all the private land owners and do not trespass or litter.
